Nakai Organic Tea Farm was born over thirty years ago, when the Nakai family chose the bold bet of organic farming in Wazuka, long before the region truly believed in it. 

They replanted their plots themselves, cultivar by cultivar, and perfected the long shading that gives that recognizable depth to their matchas. Today, perched on the misty hills of Wazuka and true to the character of Uji, they produce organic Okumidori with a bright hue and delicate profile.
